This family-sized Ginpo Kikka donabe pot ("do" meaning clay, and "nabe" meaning pot) brings a warm, Japanese countryside ambiance to your tableware collection. These glossy-black earthenware pots undergo a unique ceramic coating process to help ensure an even, consistent heat and retain warmth for long periods. The glossy-smooth glaze is easy to clean and resistant to stains and orders. A traditional chrysanthemum-shaped design is used on the domed lids of these gorgeous ceramic donabe pots, making them fabulous centerpieces for intimate dinners. Note that the high-gloss lids are available in either stunning lapiz (midnight blue) or a rich forest brown. This classically styled pot is ideal for serving 3-4 portions, and no special treatments are required before use. These robust, versatile pots can be used on an open flame, in ovens, and microwaves.
