This dessert bowl by Seizan Kiln is formed in a chrysanthemum flower (kikuwari) shape and glazed in elegant celadon green. A skilled artisan hand-painted the flower's center with blue pigment in the traditional Japanese ocean waves (seigaiha) pattern, which conveys the meaning of "may your life continue to be as peaceful as a gentle wave." Use this medium porcelain bowl for side dishes, snacks, desserts, and as an individual serving bowl for large dishes.
