Handcrafted Japanese 'Rinka ware' is a title given to porcelain pieces carved and shaped into a flower-like appearance, typically finished with an emerald-green glaze over the earthy clay. Handcrafting means that no two pieces are identical, with each plate being a work of art. This set of three plates displays some of Japan's best artisan crafting, and each plate size is distinct in its sophisticated individuality. The unique coloring of these plates also makes them fabulous show plates, displaying everything from fluted dessert cups to intricate culinary creations.
