This Ginpo Kikka lapis Induction Compatible donabe pot ("do" meaning clay, and "nabe" meaning pot) brings a warm, Japanese countryside ambiance to your tableware collection. This classically styled pot is ideal for serving 3-4 portions, and the process used in glazing all parts of the ceramic pot helps ensure an even, consistent heat—also retaining the warmth for long periods. A traditional chrysanthemum motif is used on the lapis-blue lids of these ceramic donabe pots, making them fabulous centerpieces for intimate dinners. These versatile, durable clay pots have been constructed using a method that allows them to be used on induction heating systems and traditional direct flame, radiant heating (up to 250°C for the lid), and microwaves.
