Hand Painted with a classic red plum blossom motif, this snow-white Arita ware teapot features a carefully sculpted side handle design. This centuries-old handle format is offset for ease of pouring while bringing a charming, timeless warmth to your tea service. The teapot features an internal beehive-style strainer, easily catching everything but the finest loose tea leaves. The lovely plum blossom patterns are accented wonderfully by the luster of the pot's glaze, and the unvented, snug-fitting lid ensures the tea remains at temperature for an impressive length of time. Finding teacups that match a specific teapot can sometimes be challenging, but the uncluttered white and plum blossom motif allows for ease of matching stylish teacups.
