The ‘Moon Rabbit’ featured in Japanese folklore is believed to bring good fortune, while the yellow harvest moon denotes an important celebratory time in Japan. The combination of these characters has created a magical scene on this matcha bowl, complimented perfectly by the washed gray background of the clay bowl. Each matcha bowl is handmade and carefully crafted by talented Kutani ware artisans.
