This Arita ware round dessert dish by Shobido Honten is handcrafted in the colored Nabeshima style. The bellflower border is detailed by hand in red, green, and yellow pigments on both the front and back sides. The center of the porcelain plate is decorated in the traditional Japanese asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern in blue. The dish's rim is gently shaped like petals for an elegant effect.
